Zip World Fforest’s ‘Ffear Fforest’ Event
When: 12th October – 1st November 2023, 7:30 PM – 10:30 PM

If you’re seeking the ultimate Halloween thrill, Zip World Fforest’s ‘Ffear Fforest’ event is the place to be. Set amidst the eerie Welsh woodlands, ‘Ffear Fforest’ has gained a reputation as North Wales’ most infamous Halloween attraction. Cursed Coaster
Ride the UK’s only Alpine coaster of its kind in the dark, guided only by your headlamp. Ascend over 700 meters of track before a heart-pounding descent. Experience it alone or with a friend, and even brave the forest at night with your Night Pass.
The Nets

Bala Lake Railway – Halloween Trains
When: 28th and 31st October 2023, 5:30 PM and 6:45 PM
Where: Bala Lake Railway, Rheilffordd Llyn Tegid, Llanuwchllyn
Join the Bala Lake Railway for a spooky evening train ride to celebrate Halloween. Take a spine-chilling trip down the line, stopping at the haunted Flag Halt and the witches’ coven. The stations are adorned with Halloween decorations, and the staff/volunteers dress up for the occasion. Feel free to join in the fun and dress up too!
Two special services will run at 5:30 PM and 6:45 PM from Llanuwchllyn to Glan Llyn, where resident ghosts and ghouls will entertain you.

Visit Storiel for an engaging workshop where you’ll have the unique opportunity to delve into the rich tapestry of Welsh Halloween traditions and beliefs. Embark on a journey through the enchanting folklore of Ghosts, Goblins, Fairies, Witches, and more! Come and be part of this exploration into how ancient Welsh customs continue to serve as a wellspring of inspiration for modern Halloween festivities.
