Spring has officially sprung in Snowdonia with all our members now fully reopened and with a renewed spirit and energy following the monumental boom in the staycation last year. Whilst many of our members are open all year round, some of our members operate in mid to high season only and Spring signifies the point at which everything comes back to life and we begin to see lots of activity. Spring also signals brighter and warmer weather, the perfect conditions to make the most of the Easter holidays with your loved ones. Read on to find out what’s on in Snowdonia this Easter.
The staycation remains a favoured holiday destination for the UK. Attractions and hospitality venues, all members of Snowdonia 360, have reopened with many reporting sell out bookings and reservations during Easter and throughout April with similar trends heading into Summer – with this in mind, we highly recommend pre-booking your activities before you travel.
Here are some of our favourite Easter activities this half term:
The Welsh Mountain Zoo Easter Eggs-travaganza is not to be missed, head over between 9-24th April to enjoy this Easter activity and say hello to the animals whilst you’re there. Activities include The Golden Egg Hunt, White Rabbit Trail, and Fun Easter Crafts
Anglesey Sea Zoo has hidden 13 elasmobranch eggs from their friends at the Shark Trust around the aquarium and they need your help finding them! Join in with the great eggcase hunt! Can you find them all?
Join Llanberis Lake Railway for their annual Easter Egg Hunt on 16 -18 April . The resident White Rabbit has once again hidden all his eggs around the railway thinking no one else will find them! If you can help to find them all, you will receive a prize!
Gypsy Wood Park is now open! Head over for their Egg Hunt and Easter activities on 17th April. The park also has a magical Fairy Princess, Entertainer, Donkey rides and face painting available over the half term.
Adventure Parc Snowdonia– Waves have returned! Surf Snowdonia has officially reopened for the season this Easter, head over to get your surf lesson booked now, or make the most of their Indoor Adrenaline activities on a rainy day.
Greenwood Family Park – Unleash your inner explorer with their adventurous eggsplorers trail this Easter! This popular family-friendly outdoor attraction re-opens for the season on Saturday 9th April, be sure to pre-book your tickets if you wish to visit.
